To provide the service, we collect:

• Account info: email address, username, display name, and avatar.
• Content you create: characters, personas, and chat messages.
• Usage data: analytics events such as page views, feature usage, and crashes.
• Technical data: IP address and browser info, collected via analytics.

• To provide and operate the service, including chat and character features.
• To generate AI responses — your chat messages and character context are sent to AI models.
• To analyze usage and improve features, performance, and safety.
• To communicate with you about your account and important changes.
• To enforce the Community Guidelines and these terms.

We use the following services that may process your data:

• Supabase — authentication and database hosting.
• Lovable AI Gateway — AI model access for generating character replies.
• Google OAuth — optional sign-in with a Google account.
• Analytics providers — aggregated usage metrics.

Each provider has its own privacy policy governing how it handles data.

We keep your account and content for as long as your account is active. Chat messages are retained to provide conversation history. Free accounts see only the most recent stretch of each chat; Pro accounts see full history. When you delete your account, we remove your content within a reasonable period.

• Access, correct, or export your account data from preferences.
• Delete your account and associated content at any time.
• Object to or restrict certain processing where applicable.
• Withdraw consent for optional processing (e.g. analytics) where offered.

We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication, session management, and analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect some features.

hoshi.chat is for adults only. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has registered, please contact us and we will remove the account.
