By accessing or using hoshi.chat, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy and Community Guidelines. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
• Provide accurate information when signing up.
• Usernames must not impersonate others, be hateful, or be sexually suggestive in a way that targets minors.
• You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
• One account per person.

You are responsible for the characters, personas, messages and any other content you create or share on hoshi.chat. By posting content, you represent that you have the right to do so and that it complies with our Community Guidelines.

• You grant hoshi.chat a license to host, store, display and process your content to operate the service.
• Public characters may appear in Explore and on your creator profile.
• Private characters are visible only to you and are never surfaced publicly.
• We may remove content that violates these terms or the guidelines.

Character replies and other text on hoshi.chat are generated by AI models and are fictional. AI output can be inaccurate, offensive, or unexpected. You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated content before relying on or sharing it. See our Legal page for the full fictional-content disclaimer.

You agree not to:

• Violate the Community Guidelines, including any age-restricted content rules.
• Harass, threaten, or impersonate other users.
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or overload the service.
• Scrape, crawl, or export content in bulk without permission.
• Circumvent plan limits, rate limits, or moderation actions.

hoshi.chat, its name, logo, and software are owned by us. You retain ownership of your user-generated content subject to the license granted above. If you believe someone is infringing your IP, see our DMCA contact info.

hoshi.chat offers a free plan and a paid Pro plan. Limits may change.

A paid plan never permits anything the Community Guidelines prohibit.

You can delete your account at any time from preferences. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, the guidelines, or to protect the service or other users.

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. AI-generated content is fictional and may be incorrect. To the maximum extent permitted by law, hoshi.chat is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in-app or by email. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
